Bonhams Paris Auction of Ornellaia's 2023 Vendemmia d'Artista Series to Benefit Guggenheim Foundation

Bonhams will hold an auction in Paris from 11 to 23 June 2026, featuring 14 lots of large-format bottles from Ornellaia's 2023 Vendemmia d'Artista series, titled 'La Vitalità'. The labels for these bottles were created by Serbian conceptual and performance artist Marina Abramović. Proceeds from the sale will support the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation for its upcoming exhibition, Guggenheim Pop, which will include recent acquisitions by artists such as Andy Warhol, Maurizio Cattelan, Richard Hamilton, Toy Lichtenstein, and Coosje Van Bruggen. This marks the second year of collaboration between Bonhams and Ornellaia, an influential Italian wine estate. The Vendemmia d'Artista initiative has been ongoing since the 2006 vintage, blending art and wine. The auction aims to fund an exhibition showcasing provocative works from the Guggenheim collection.
