A European private collection of 38 Aboriginal artworks sold for €90,944 at Bonhams Cornette de Saint Cyr in Paris, achieving a 95% sell-through rate. The online auction ran from January 13 to 23, 2026, attracting competitive bidding from French and international collectors. Merryn Schriever, Managing Director for Australia, noted the results demonstrate growing appreciation for both aesthetic and cultural value. The collection, assembled between the early 1990s and 2011, was previously exhibited at the Wissenschaftszentrum in Bonn during 2010. Strong interest confirmed continued European market demand for Aboriginal art.
