Bonhams Hong Kong Sale Features Coloured Gemstones and Period Jewels
On 24 May 2026, Bonhams will conduct its Exceptional Jewels & Jadeite auction in Hong Kong, featuring 148 lots that showcase a distinguished collection of period pieces and colored gemstones, including rubies, Kashmir sapphires, emeralds, diamonds, and colored diamonds. A standout item is a necklace from around 1950, adorned with seven step-cut Colombian emeralds totaling 50.00 carats, complemented by over 30 carats of vari-cut diamonds, with an estimated value of HK$4,800,000-5,500,000. Another significant piece is a 16.50-carat red spinel and diamond ring, which includes a Tanzanian red spinel surrounded by tapered baguette-cut diamonds, valued at HK$1,800,000-2,400,000.
