Bonhams Hong Kong recently held its inaugural ex-cellar auction featuring wines from the esteemed Burgundy producer Edouard Delaunay, and it was a complete success. This online auction highlighted rare cuvées, large bottles, and vertical collections from the Delaunay family's private stash. A notable highlight was a one-of-a-kind barrel of Vougeot Premier Cru Les Cras 2023, which was sold in several formats, including a 9L Salmanazar, 3L Jeroboams, 1.5L Magnums, and 750ml bottles. It went for HK$375,000, exceeding its top estimate of HK$360,000. The lucky buyer will also receive custom labels for their wine.
