Bonhams Geneva to Show Soviet Non-Conformist Art from Peschler Collection

From September 16 to 18, Bonhams will present a selection from the Eric A. Peschler Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art at their auction house in Geneva. This will lead up to an online auction happening from September 25 to October 5, 2026. The collection, which was assembled from the late 1950s until the end of the Soviet Union, showcases various paintings, sculptures, and works on paper by Moscow-based artists. This is the first time these pieces are being offered for sale. Notably, the collection includes significant works from the 1980s, featuring artists like Dmitry Krasnopevtsev and Erik Bulatov, reflecting a dynamic and independent artistic movement from the twentieth century.
