Bonhams|Cars will present its Monaco Sale during the Monaco Historic Grand Prix on Friday 24 April at 14:30 CET. The auction will be held at the Fairmont Hotel, which overlooks the Loews Hairpin on the Grand Prix circuit. A 1958 Lotus 16 Formula 1 car, estimated at €450,000-€600,000, headlines the event. This vehicle represents the first single-seater race car driven by Graham Hill. Two prototype Lotus 16s debuted at the 1958 French Grand Prix in Reims-Gueux. The sale features a diverse array of period Formula 1, rally, and touring cars alongside modern hypercars and classic vehicles. Buyers could potentially drive purchased cars directly from the saleroom to the race start line.
