Bonhams wrapped up its 20th & 21st Century Art Week, generating a total of $28.34 million from four auctions: the Impressionist & Modern Art sale, the Evening Sale, the Post-War & Contemporary Art sale, and the single-owner online sale of The Renoir Collection of Gabrielle Renard. This event was held at Bonhams' new U.S. flagship location at 111 West 57th Street in New York on May 20. Bidders from 18 countries across six continents participated in the Evening Sale, which saw the Renoir Collection achieve remarkable white glove results. This week represented the department's highest global earnings to date, marking a 13% rise since November (excluding American Art) and celebrating the inaugural 20th & 21st Century Art Week at the new venue.
