Bombay Sapphire Canvas Bar at Palazzo Velli Expo in Rome

Bombay Sapphire presented its Stir Creativity campaign at Palazzo Velli Expo in Rome, following previous editions in London (2018) and Milan. The Canvas Bar, described as a contemporary patronage experiment, features a visual project by the artist/designer duo Carnovsky—Silvia Quintanilla (Colombia, 1979) and Francesco Rugi (Italy, 1977), active in Milan since 2007. They created a piece from their Landscapes series titled "Stir perspectives," curated by Stefania Ragusa. The work employs their signature RGB technique, overlaying three images in primary colors that become distinct only through red, blue, or green filters. The layered imagery evokes a Mediterranean scene, maritime voyages, and an Indian jungle, paired with gin aromas of juniper, sage, spices, and essential oils. The campaign aims to scout and build a stable of artists rather than commission a single representative work.
