Bolzano Art Weeks 2022 Consolidates Its Presence with City-Wide Program
The Bolzano Art Weeks (BAW) returned for its second edition from September 22 to October 2, 2022, under the curation of Nina Stricker and organized by Cooperativa 19 alongside Südtiroler Künstlerbund. The event showcased a variety of venues, including museums, independent galleries, foundations, and artist studios, featuring exhibitions, performances, and discussions centered around the theme MEMENTO/MOMENT(O)/MONUMENT(O). Notably, the studios of Ivo Corrà and Marcello Jori at Hotel Laurin welcomed visitors, while the hotel also exhibited Brigitte Niedermair's Peau D'âmes 2009-2010. Matteo Attruia's ERO_E installation was displayed at Palais Campofranco. Museion hosted Kingdom of the Ill (running until March 5, 2023), and Fondazione Antonio delle Nogare launched Ri-Materializzazione del Linguaggio. 1978-2022, curated by Cristiana Perrella and Vittoria Pavesi.
