Bolsena launches destination film 'Perpetual' to boost tourism

The municipality of Bolsena has funded a short film titled 'Perpetual' to promote the town as a premier tourist destination in Italy. Directed by Andrea Speca and Chiara Gualterio, with choreography by Alessandra Vettraino and production coordination by Sandro Giorgetti, the film features aerial and FPV footage of Lake Bolsena, the Basilica of Santa Cristina, Palazzo Cozza Caposavi, and Palazzo del Drago. The project aims to transcend traditional promotional videos by crafting a cinematic narrative that captures the town's identity, rhythm, and memory. A new online platform under the Visit Bolsena website and a social media campaign on Instagram and Facebook will support the initiative. Mayor Andrea Di Sorte emphasized the choice to use an emotional, contemporary language to deliver an authentic image. Francesco Battistoni, Secretary of the Presidency of the Chamber of Deputies, and Alessandro Romoli, president of the Province of Viterbo, highlighted the project's potential to benefit the entire Tuscia region. The four-minute short evokes a 'perpetual movement of infinite beauty,' blending intimacy and community, landscape and body, memory and movement.
