Bologna's Golinelli Campus Expands with New G-Factor Incubator
The Fondazione Golinelli in Bologna has unveiled G-Factor, a new incubator-accelerator that expands its campus by 5,000 square meters, totaling 14,000 square meters. Designed by diverserighestudio, the building features innovative spaces with movable walls and vibrant colors aimed at fostering creativity. Nine startups emerged from a 2018 selection process, including Biocompatibility Innovation and BionIT Lab, among others. Additionally, the site will accommodate the BI-REX Competence Center, launched in December 2018 with 57 partners. This facility is the latest addition to the Golinelli complex, joining earlier developments from 2015 that prioritize education and research integration.
