BoCs Art Museum Opens in Cosenza, Showcasing Residency Works

exhibition · 2026-05-05

On December 15, the BoCs Art Museum will officially open its doors in Cosenza, Italy, located within the San Domenico complex. This initiative is a result of the Bocs Art residency program, which ran from July 4, 2015, to 2017 and welcomed over 300 artists. The museum will showcase artworks donated by these artists to the city. According to Director Alberto Dambruoso, it will initially function as an exhibition venue before expanding to include unrelated shows. The opening exhibition will feature pieces from approximately 90 of the 330 participating artists, such as Paolo Grassino's "Per sedurre gli insetti," Alessandro Fonte's "UNFINISHED," and others. A second exhibition is scheduled for Easter 2018.
