BoCS Art Cosenza Residency Challenges Artistic Authorship
In October, the BoCS Art session in Cosenza concluded with a deep dive into modern art's ideas of authorship and value. Nineteen artists participated in this 20-day residency, including notable names like Raffaella Romano and Dario Agrimi, who produced 10-11 works, stressing that an artist’s value lies in their creations. Meanwhile, Guerrilla Spam took a unique approach by dismantling their piece after ten days, sharing printed versions instead to emphasize the concept of art. Tiziano Bellomi cleverly hid a poem in a tree, while Paolo Migliazza’s sculpture was encased in concrete without any signatures. This residency aimed to enhance the upcoming Museum of Contemporary Art in Cosenza.
