Bob Dylan and Elvis Presley Guitars on Sale for $900K and $650K
M.S. Rau is offering two iconic guitars for sale. One is Bob Dylan's custom 1993 Fender Stratocaster, priced at $900,000, and the other is Elvis Presley's classical guitar from the 1950s, listed at $650,000. Dylan's Stratocaster is one of only four unique aluminum-body models made by J. Black for the NAMM trade show and has "J. Black for Bob Dylan" written under the pickguard, along with the original invoice. Elvis's guitar, featuring beautiful polished wood and black accents, was famously photographed with him in Germany in 1958. He supposedly gave it to a friend in Las Vegas in 1976 after his performance of "That's All Right," signing the soundboard. It also comes with a 1995 Graceland Records authenticity certificate. Bill Rau, who runs M.S. Rau, called these guitars some of the most significant music memorabilia he has ever seen.
