BMW Alpina Vision Concept Unveiled at Villa d'Este

architecture-design · 2026-05-15

In early 2026, BMW Group completely integrated Alpina, which was established in 1965. The Vision BMW Alpina concept, presented on 15 May 2026 at Villa d'Este in Italy, acts as the brand's declaration, emphasizing subtle luxury and comfort. Adrian van Hooydonk articulated that the focus is 'about speed, not sport.' Created by Max Missoni, the concept boasts a 5.2-meter-long BMW 8 Series platform, a three-dimensional 'shark-nosed' kidney grille, and an opulent interior designed by Alex Innes. It offers driving modes such as 'Comfort Plus' and 'Speed,' powered by a V8 petrol engine along with electrified alternatives. Production versions based on the 7 Series and X7 are anticipated in 2027, priced between the BMW 7 Series and Rolls-Royce, available at select dealerships.
