BMA Exhibition Celebrates Hymans' Six-Decade American Art Collection

The Baltimore Museum of Art will host an exhibition celebrating the extensive Hyman collection, which features over 100 works focused on modern American culture and everyday life. Running from May 10 to September 13, 2026, the exhibit commemorates the donation made by Sigmund M. Hyman, who lived from 1921 to 2002, and Mary B. Hyman, who lived from 1927 to 2024. The title draws inspiration from a quote by artist Robert Henri from 1923, highlighting the significance of this six-decade collection built by the Hymans.
