The second edition of Blue Lagoon School, an independent artist-run summer programme, will take place August 10–15, 2026, at Kim? Contemporary Art Centre in Riga, Latvia. Founded by artists Evita Vasiļjeva and Kaspars Groševs, the school offers a six-day intensive hands-on learning experience emphasizing trial and error as a creative method. Guest tutors include artist Anastasia Sosunova (Vilnius) and curator Siim Preiman (Tallinn), with surprise appearances. The programme is open to participants aged 16–99, requires no prior art experience, and is conducted in English. Maximum 16 participants; fee is 130 EUR plus materials (approx. 30 EUR).
