BlowUp Jubilee Brings Inflatable Art to The Hague's Madurodam
The sixth edition of BlowUp Art, titled BlowUp Jubilee, has opened in The Hague, Netherlands, featuring 20 inflatable sculptures by artists who participated in previous years. Curated by Mary Hessing, the open-air exhibition places works in dialogue with historic monuments and buildings across the city, including Madurodam, a miniature park. Artists include Steve Messam, Eugenie Boon, John Körmeling, Sigrid Calon, Yamuna Forzani, Studio Meike Meijer, and Raw Color. Boon's piece 'koncha pa dilanti' references Caribbean heritage.
