festival-fair · 2026-05-05

For its 2017 edition, the BLOOP International Proactive Art Festival moves to the historic center of Eivissa (Ibiza), scheduled from August 23 to September 9. Established in 2011, the festival was originally held in Sant Antoni, an area impacted by real estate speculation. Biokip Labs, the creative agency behind the festival, emphasizes urban renewal through artistic expression. This year's theme, 'changes,' explores transformations in values, lifestyles, politics, technology, and the environment. Over its six-year history, BLOOP has drawn 90,000 attendees per edition and showcased more than 150 international artists, including Okuda and Phlegm. The 2017 event enhances Biokip's collaboration with Designersblock, featuring a design exhibition in Ibiza and activities during London Design Week, with plans to expand to other cities in the future.
