Blogger Invited to Prato for Pecci Center Reopening

other · 2026-05-05

The first edition of the Call for Creative Curious Travellers 2016, launched just two weeks ago, has already received applications from around the world, including Rio de Janeiro, Moscow, London, Berlin, and across Italy. The initiative invites writers, photographers, filmmakers, illustrators, and artists to be hosted free of charge in Prato to document the city during the reopening of the Centro per l'Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci on October 16. The call is organized by CCT-SeeCity, an online guidezine founded in 2009 by Elena Mazzoni Wagner and Patric Alfred Haroldo, which became an association in 2012 with Lavinia Biancalani. Selected travelers, accompanied by one or two creative friends, will visit the Pecci Center and explore the area using an Ape calessino with WiFi provided by partner The GIRA. The stay, from October 16 to December 16, includes two to four free nights at the home-studio of co-founder Elena Mazzoni Wagner. Applications are open until September 16.
