Björk's Cornucopia film premieres in Milan

Björk's film 'Björk: Cornucopia Live' had its national premiere on November 19, 2025, at Ariosto Anteo spazioCinema in Milan. The film adapts her Cornucopia tour (2019–2023) and was directed by Ísold Uggadóttir. A special message from Uggadóttir described the project as pioneering 'digital theatre.' The screening was preceded by a talk with music journalist Tommaso Toma and NABA professor Gloria Maria Cappelletti. The film blends concert footage from the September 1, 2023 Lisbon show with virtual reality sequences, exploring coexistence of ecosystems and technology as a response to climate crisis. Björk emphasizes emotional abundance over material wealth, using unconventional instruments like the aluphone and a circular flute.
