Biografilm Festival Bologna 13th Edition Honors Piera Degli Esposti and Peter Greenaway

The 13th edition of Biografilm – International Celebration of Live in Bologna honors revolutionary stars Piera Degli Esposti and Peter Greenaway. The festival is dedicated to movement and dance, featuring many French titles. Highlights include L'Opéra by Jean-Stéphane Bron, a behind-the-scenes look at the Paris Opera; Reléve – Histoire d’Une Création on choreographer Benjamin Millepied; Move! Dance Your Life by Fanny Jean-Noël; and La Danseuse by Stéphanie Di Giusto, with Soko as Loïe Fuller. The festival draws from Sundance, Toronto, and Cannes. Biografilm Italia showcases Italian documentaries, including The Eagle Huntress with narrator Lodovica Comello. Biografilm Art and Music sections feature Manifesto by Julian Rosefeldt with Cate Blanchett, Bill Viola: The Road to Saint Paul's by Gerald Fox, and Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked The World. Closing film is The Lost City of Z by James Frey with Sienna Miller and Tom Holland.
