Billy Joel documentary premieres on Sky Arte October 29

A two-part HBO documentary on Billy Joel, directed by Susan Lacy and Jessica Levin, premieres on Sky Arte on Wednesday, October 29. The film explores the life and enduring impact of the 1949-born singer-songwriter, who rose to fame with his 1973 hit "Piano Man." The first episode examines how the song revolutionized Joel's career. The documentary features exclusive interviews with Joel, his family, and friends, as well as contributions from Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, and Sting. It includes never-before-seen archival footage and personal videos, covering Joel's loves, struggles, losses, and battles with addiction.
