Bill Viola's experimental video game The Night Journey now available to all

The Night Journey, an experimental video game created by Bill Viola in 2007, has been released for Windows, Mac, and PlayStation 4. Previously exhibited in museums as a work in progress, the game is now available to the public. It was developed in collaboration with the USC Game Innovation Lab at the University of South California. The game offers a contemplative, level-less exploration of a dark, mysterious universe, with sequences depicting dreams and memories drawn from Viola's video art. It incorporates references to poetry, religion, and mysticism, particularly the life and work of 13th-century Persian poet Rumi.
