BigRock Institute: High-Tech School in Rural Treviso

BigRock. Institute of Magic Technologies, located in the rural hamlet of Ca' Tron in Roncade (Treviso province), has been pioneering high-tech education since 2005. Founded by Marco Savini, the school initially focused on Visual Effects and Computer Graphics, two highly demanded fields in Italy. It has since expanded to offer three six-month master's programs: Computer Graphics, Concept Art, and Virtual Reality. Apple CEO Tim Cook recognized the school as one of the 100 most innovative schools worldwide. Many alumni now work at major film studios like Pixar, DreamWorks, and Paramount, contributing to blockbusters such as 'Avengers: Infinity War'. The school is part of H-Farm, a startup accelerator founded by Riccardo Donadon. A recent agreement between Cattolica Beni Immobili, the Veneto Region, the Metropolitan City of Venice, and the municipalities of Roncade and Quarto d'Altino, facilitated by director Carlo Carraro (former rector of Ca' Foscari University), has enabled further expansion and new courses. The school aims to bridge education and corporate demands, blending traditional and modern teaching methods.
