BienNoLo: Milan's Neighborhood Biennial Returns for Third Edition
From June 2 to 11, 2023, the third BienNoLo, a biennial event in Milan's NoLo area, takes place. Curated by Giacinto Di Pietrantonio and organized by Associazione BienNoLo alongside Fondazione di Comunità Milano, this initiative seeks to engage the community and combat gentrification. Titled "Talitha Kum," it symbolizes a call for awareness and artistic renewal. Designed by Carlo Vanoni, the exhibition showcases 26 artists at three locations: Mosso Milano, Munimor, and Spazio Hasita. Notable participants include Gino De Dominicis, Enzo Mari, and Filippo Riniolo, who will perform on June 2. The event features talks, guided tours, and workshops for local schools, along with €3,000 scholarships for youth from migrant backgrounds pursuing art education.
