Biennale Gherdëina 7 Goes Ahead in Val Gardena Despite Pandemic
The seventh Biennale Gherdëina is set to commence on August 8, 2020, in Ortisei, Val Gardena, Italy, having been rescheduled from its original date of June 27 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Curated by Adam Budak, the exhibition is titled '– a breath? a name? – the ways of worldmaking' and marks the conclusion of a trilogy that started in 2016. This biennial showcases the themes of relationality, touch, and differentiation, featuring 28 artists, many of whom will present new works. Key locations include outdoor areas in Ortisei, Selva di Valgardena, and the Pilat terrace, with indoor displays at Sala Luis Trenker.
