Biennale des Antiquaires Goes Annual with New Paris Format
The Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris is set to become an annual affair, taking place over two weekends in September. The 2017 event is scheduled from September 11 to 17 at the Grand Palais. Notable features include a collaboration with Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille, which will present a vintage car selection and a fashion show on September 10. Additionally, exhibitions on Monet and "Impressionist Treasures from the Ordrupgaard Collection" will be held in partnership with Musée Marmottan and Musée Jacquemart-André. The Grand Palais will only utilize the ground-floor nave hall. President Christian Forbes highlighted the importance of enhancing global visibility and providing timely service for collectors. The event will also celebrate Jean Paul Barbier-Mueller's collection, showcasing works from his descendants.
