Biennale 2026: Venice's May 6 Openings and Exhibitions Guide
The Untitled Association has developed a guide for the upcoming 61st Venice Biennale, set to commence on May 6, 2026. At Patricia Low Contemporary, Daniel Crews-Chubb will unveil 'The Belt of Venus,' which includes six large-scale paintings. David Salle's 'Painting in the Present Tense' will be featured at Fondazione Giorgio Cini, in collaboration with Thaddaeus Ropac, utilizing a bespoke AI model. Palazzo Corner della Ca' Granda will display 'Possible Landscapes' by Charlotte Colbert, curated by Yasmine Helou. Paul Noble's 'The Declining Figure' will be presented by Caterina Tognon. Galleria Michela Rizzo will showcase 'Fabio Mauri: L'Esperimento del Tempo,' curated by Ivan Barlafante. Lu Yang's 'Doku The Illusion' opens at Fondation Louis Vuitton's Espace Louis Vuitton Venezia on May 8. Erwin Wurm's 'Dreamers' will be at Museo di Palazzo Fortuny, while Fondation Valmont features 'Penelope: Her Journeys.' Additionally, Joystick will present Paul Graves' 'Chain of Love,' and Bruno will host 'Morning Rituals' from May 6-8.
