Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense unveils new website and Mediateca Santa Teresa reopening

In Milan, the Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense has unveiled a new website that grants access to thousands of volumes and rare collections, including over fifty esteemed funds such as the Manzoniano collection. This collection will be showcased in an exhibition commencing on May 4, focusing on the theme of the plague. The site, developed by Viva!, features sections dedicated to exhibitions and special projects, including the Adler children's collection in Ukrainian and the Living Newspaper initiative, with a goal to engage younger audiences, as stated by Director Marzia Pontone. Additionally, the Mediateca Santa Teresa, located at via Moscova 28, is set to reopen next autumn as a center for arts and music, supported by one million euros from both state and private funding. James Bradburne, director of the Pinacoteca di Brera, emphasized the cohesive vision behind the 'Grande Brera' project.
