Bia Lessa's exhibition-manifesto 'Cartas ao Mundo' at Sesc Avenida Paulista offers a radically different experience depending on the time of day. Structured around three films—Asfixia, Mercadoria, and O Comum—the installation transforms hourly, incorporating sequential performances by a dozen artists and presenting works from 80 artists. The project, deeply influenced by filmmaker Glauber Rocha and exploring contrasts between dystopia and utopia, disease and cure, features special contributions from Vitor Garcez, Flora Süssekind, Ailton Krenak, and Guilherme Wisnik. On Sundays, the work extends to the streets of Avenida Paulista. Lessa describes the project's goal as a 'desire for awareness and change,' inspired by Augusto de Campos's poem.
