Beyond Landscape: Seven Artists Reimagine Nature in Milan

exhibition · 2026-05-05

Curated by Andrea Lerda, the group exhibition 'Beyond Landscape' at Renata Fabbri gallery in Milan presents seven contemporary artists exploring the concept of landscape through diverse media and perspectives. Laura Pugno's installation creates a micro-environment of plants covered in white fabric, deconstructing natural forms. Giorgia Severi incorporates geotextile fabric used to protect glaciers from melting, addressing ecological concerns. Marco Strappato uses technology to imagine idealized natural scenarios, while Cosimo Veneziano dissects landscape components including human figures. Adéla Waldhauserová deconstructs landscape fragments with various mediums. Sophie Ko reconstructs catastrophe remnants using pollen and flowers collected after a landslide. Petra Lindholm, after a long stay in the mountains of Kathmandu, produces layered works evoking the spiritual character of those lands. The exhibition runs until October 29, 2016.
