Berwick Visual Arts and Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival Announce 2016 Residency for Moving Image Artists
Applications are open until 18 January 2016 for a six-month artist residency beginning in April 2016. The program, offered by Berwick Visual Arts in partnership with Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival, provides £8,000, private accommodation, and studio space in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, UK. Artists with moving image practices from any country are eligible, provided they have been out of college for at least three years or hold a completed MA or PhD. The selected artist will create a new work responding to the festival's 2016 theme 'X', which will premiere at the Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival from 21 to 25 September 2016.
