Bertrand Lavier's 'Jardin des cinq continents' at Montpellier's MoCo Garden

French artist Bertrand Lavier has created 'Le Jardin des cinq continents' (The Garden of Five Continents) in the 'jardin du MoCo' (MoCo garden) in Montpellier, France. The garden, which opened in 2019, features plant species from around the world, staging the globalization of plant varieties. Lavier, known for his conceptual approach, has transformed the space into a verdant atlas, highlighting the interconnectedness of botanical life across continents. The project is part of a summer series titled 'Artistes en leur jardin' (Artists in their garden), which explores artists' relationships with gardens.
