Bertozzi & Casoni's Surreal Ceramics at Ascoli Piceno

The Pinacoteca Civica di Ascoli Piceno hosts an exhibition of works by ceramicists Giampaolo Bertozzi (born 1957, Borgo Tossignano, Bologna) and Stefano Dal Monte Casoni (born 1961, Lugo di Romagna, Ravenna). Food is the central theme, explored through surreal still lifes in polychrome ceramics. The artists combine technical experimentation with ironic, irreverent intersections, addressing modern materialism. Their works incorporate fruit, leftovers, waste, flowers, animals, and cans, transforming symbols of consumerism and transience into new aesthetic forms.
