Bernard Frize's Chromatic Universes at Galleria Gentili, Florence

Galleria Gentili in Florence presents 'Northern Lights, Waterfalls and Oceans', a solo exhibition of Bernard Frize featuring a group of new canvases created between 2015 and 2016. The works, varying in format, explore the artist's processual and conceptual universe where pictorial language becomes a material form of thought, enriched by real-world experience. Frize's technique synthesizes different processes and times, resulting in precise, measured compositions defined by a polychromatic warp and weft that configures a harmonious vision. The exhibition highlights the solidarity between technique and content in Frize's practice. Bernard Frize was born in Saint Mandé in 1954. The exhibition is curated by Gino Pisapia, an independent critic and curator born in 1981, who studied Contemporary Art History at the University of Naples in 2006 and lives and works in Florence.
