Berlin's Collaborative Art Season: Three Major Events Launch Autumn 2013

Berlin's 2013 autumn art season unfolds through three coordinated initiatives. The commercial gallery exhibition abc incorporates off-spaces and non-profit ventures into its presentation. Berlin Art Week coincides with these events, featuring openings across the city's exhibition spaces alongside satellite fairs like Preview Berlin. Four major institutions present Painting Forever!, with each mounting self-curated exhibitions on painting. The Neue Nationalgalerie, under director Udo Kittelmann, showcases four male painters: Martin Eder, Michael Kunze, Anselm Reyle and Thomas Scheibitz.
