A review of ten architectural endeavors in Berlin from the last twenty years highlights the city's transformation since reunification. The Cube Berlin, designed by 3XN and completed in 2020, incorporates a self-learning AI system. OMA's Axel Springer Campus, developed between 2013 and 2020, represents the transition to digital media. Franco Stella's Humboldt Forum, also from 2013 to 2020, reconstructs the Berlin Palace, facing critiques regarding authenticity. David Chipperfield's James Simon Gallery, which serves as the new entrance to Museum Island, received the DAM Preis in 2020 and was built from 1999 to 2019. Other notable projects include the Jacob und Wilhelm Grimm Center (2006–2009), Bricks Berlin Schöneberg (2015–2019), and the Holocaust Memorial (1998–2005) by Peter Eisenman.
