Berghain Nightclub Transforms into Massive Berlin Art Exhibition with 117 Local Artists
The iconic Berghain nightclub in Berlin has transformed into an art gallery for the 'Studio Berlin' exhibition, featuring works from 117 local artists. Curated by collectors Christian and Karen Boros, the exhibition emphasizes large-scale pieces and prohibits photography. Noteworthy works include Rirkrit Tiravanija's banner titled 'Morgen ist die Frage', Norbert Bisky's paintings of boys plummeting from an aircraft, and Julius von Bismarck's 2019 buoy sculpture 'Die Mimik der Téthys'. Additionally, Khaled Barakeh presents his Islamic clock 'One Hour is Sixty Minutes and Vice Versa', along with significant pieces by Anna Uddenberg, Jeremy Shaw, and installations from Michael Sailstorfer, Simon Fujiwara, and Tacita Dean.
