exhibition · 2026-04-26

The exhibition 'VOCI' is set to take place at the Monastero del Carmine in Bergamo from May 25 to June 30, 2024. Organized by Contemporary Locus and curated by Paola Tognon, it showcases the works of Italian artists Lara Almarcegui (born 1972), Elena Bellantoni (born 1975), and Francesca Grilli (born 1978). Almarcegui will display large-format photographs titled 'EXPLORATION RIGHTS, ATESINO SUPERVOLCANO,' captured during her exploration of the Lagorai mountain range. Bellantoni's video installation, 'On the Breadline,' highlights poverty and unrest in Serbia, Greece, Turkey, and Italy. Additionally, Grilli's performance 'Record' on May 25 and 26, 2024, will tackle themes of social isolation, featuring a choir of youth singing messages from a hikikomori boy, alongside her photographic series 'Hand.'
