Bergamasterz: Urban and Digital Arts at 255 Raw Gallery
From March 25 to April 22, the collective Bergamasterz—comprising six artists specializing in urban and digital art for over twenty years: Luca Font, Hemo, V3rbo, Davide Zetti, Loathin, and Simone Joz Rovaris—will exhibit at 255 Raw Gallery in Bergamo. The show, titled Bergamasterz: Urban and Digital Arts, explores the evolution of lettering from 1990s graffiti writing to contemporary digital contamination. Thirty works, unified by a monochrome black-and-white palette, emphasize the letter as a communicative sign. Ettore Frunzio, founder of 255 Raw Gallery, stated: "We are very happy to host them. They are an example of creativity, nonconformism, and passion, because each of them has dedicated their life to what everyone now recognizes as art but which, years ago, was hardly perceived as such."
