Beppe Fumagalli's 'Nuda e Viva' reopens Centro Fotografico di Cagliari

The Centro Fotografico di Cagliari reopens with 'Nuda e Viva', a solo exhibition by Beppe Fumagalli (born 1961 in Bergamo). Produced by Cristian Castelnuovo, the show features a series of black-and-white photographs described by curator Roberta Vanali as 'never too rigorous'. The focus is the Sardinian coastline between Capo Pecora and Piscinas, a rugged and inaccessible area with Cambrian-era schists, limestones, and dolomites. Geologist Paola Meloni and engineer Maria Cristina Porcu note that the bizarre rock formations result from millennia of erosion and resistance, evoking anthropomorphic and zoomorphic shapes.
