Bentley launches Bentayga Artenara Edition with mountain motif

other · 2026-05-11

Bentley has introduced the Bentayga Artenara Edition, a unique SUV inspired by the village of Artenara in Gran Canaria, which overlooks the Roque Bentayga rock formation that gave the Bentayga its name. This model boasts Mulliner design features, including 22-inch wheels and a double diamond grille. Notably, the Roque Bentayga Mountain motif is etched on the fascia, incorporated into the seat upholstery, and illuminated through welcome lighting. The coordinates of Roque Bentayga are also engraved on the fascia. Inside, a tri-colour scheme, previously exclusive to Mulliner's extended-wheelbase models, is offered, along with a choice of over 100 exterior colors or eight curated specifications. Powertrain options include a twin-turbocharged V8 engine (0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds, top speed 178 mph), a V6 hybrid (top speed 158 mph), or a V8 extended-wheelbase. The edition is also available in a standard-wheelbase format. Jonathan Smedley, Bentley's Product Communications Manager, remarked that naming this edition after Artenara 'closes a symbolic circle' and 'honours the very place that gave Bentayga its identity.' This release highlights Bentley's commitment to intricate design, following a partnership with British jeweller Boodles. The article was authored by Shawn Adams, an architect and lecturer at Central St Martins and the Architectural Association.
