Benjamin Sklar's Tender Brother Limbo Book and Exhibition Launch at ICP Photobook Fest
On Saturday, May 9, 2026, Benjamin Sklar, an instructor at the International Center of Photography (ICP), will unveil his latest book and exhibition titled Tender Brother Limbo at THE WHITE LOFT in New York. This event, which runs from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, marks the conclusion of ICP's Photobook Fest, taking place from May 8 to 10. Curated by Roxanne Doucet, the exhibition showcases silver gelatin, risograph, and xerox prints, and introduces Trophy Press, a new publishing imprint. The work, captured on 35mm black-and-white film using disposable and point-and-shoot cameras, explores themes of American masculinity and male relationships, particularly during bachelor parties over a span of 14 years starting in 2005.
