exhibition · 2026-04-26

Benedetta Carpi de Resmini has won the public call launched by Italy's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (Maeci) to curate a traveling exhibition from the Farnesina Collection, the ministry's contemporary art collection created 25 years ago as a soft power tool. Her project, "Identità oltre confine" (Identity Beyond Borders), focuses on the relationship between humans and nature, highlighting environmental crisis and social inequalities through works by women artists. The exhibition will feature 30 works from the collection, including Mario Merz's "Fibonacci," and will tour several European capitals. Carpi, a curator and art critic, previously collaborated with Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev at Castello di Rivoli and the Sydney Biennale, and currently directs Latitudo Art Projects in Rome.
