Ben Rivers Retrospective and Book Launch at Jeu de Paume
Ben Rivers is set to present his exhibition titled 'Ghost Strata and Other Stories' at the Jeu de Paume in Paris on November 14. In December, Fireflies Press will release 'Collected Stories,' a compilation featuring works from 14 authors, including notable names like Chloe Aridjis and Kevin Barry. The collection examines the intersection of Rivers's cinematic works and literature. Notably, Vanessa Onwuemezi contributes an essay and story named '2006' that focuses on media translation. Rivers is recognized for films such as 'Trees Down Here' and 'The Sky Trembles and the Earth is Afraid,' which challenge realism and explore complex themes.
