Belvedere Vienna Examines Old Age Through Art in 'Die Kraft des Alters'
At the Belvedere Museum in Vienna, 'Die Kraft des Alters' (The Power of Old Age) is a collective exhibition organized by Sabine Fellner. This showcase features over 170 pieces created by 105 artists spanning from the late 19th century to the present, emphasizing the experience of aging. Among the contributions are final works by Maria Lassnig (who passed away in 2014 at the age of 94) and pieces from active octogenarians such as Arnulf Rainer, Daniel Spoerri, Joan Semmel, and Margot Pilz.
