Bellini Unveils Astor 38 Production Model Inspired by Racer Francesco Castellacci's Bespoke Yacht

The Italian shipyard Bellini has unveiled its latest production model, the Astor 38, inspired by a unique 38-footer crafted for Italian-Monégasque racer Francesco Castellacci. At 39 years old, Castellacci is currently racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship with Vista AF Corse. He tasked Bellini's customization studio with designing a yacht that captures the excitement and precision of his Ferrari race car. The Astor 38 Pista, tailored for Castellacci, showcases a silver and red color scheme reminiscent of his Ferrari LMGT3 Evo, along with custom graphics, a 'Pista' signature, Ferrari Daytona-inspired shell seats, carbon fiber details, red highlights, and a Giallo Modena yellow windshield frame. The production version maintains the racing essence but features a more understated silver exterior with blue accents, an ergonomic cockpit, twin aft cabins, and a teak deck with fold-out platforms and sunpads. It is powered by twin Volvo Pentas (350 hp or 300 hp), with the latter achieving a maximum speed of 32 knots. Martina Bellini, the marketing director of Bellini Group, remarked that evolving the one-off into a series model was a logical step. Castellacci's Astor 38 Pista will be showcased at the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 8 to 13, while the Astor 38 will be available starting in September. Pricing details remain undisclosed.
