Beavis and Butt-head Return with New Film After 16 Years

The iconic animated duo Beavis and Butt-head, created by Mike Judge in 1993, are making a comeback with a new feature film titled 'Beavis and Butt-head Do the Universe'. The film is set in 1998 and follows the two delinquents as they serve a sentence at a Space Camp, leading to a journey on the Space Shuttle involving black holes and time travel, eventually landing in the present day in search of true love. Described by producers as 'the stupidest space movie ever made', it will be available on Paramount+ from June 23, 2022. The original series aired on MTV for seven consecutive years, with a 15-year hiatus between the seventh and eighth seasons, and became a cult phenomenon for its crude animation and satirical critique of American society. In Italy, the show arrived in 1998 and featured voice actors including Paolo Rossi, Luigi Rosa, Elio e le Storie Tese, Fabrizio Biggio, and Francesco Mandelli.
