Beatles' Rooftop Concert Venue at 3 Savile Row to Become Museum in 2027

In 2027, Apple Corps will unveil a museum at 3 Savile Row in London, showcasing a replica of the Beatles' basement recording studio and offering access to the rooftop where they held their last public concert in 1969, with the original railings still intact. Spanning all seven floors of the building that housed the Beatles' company and where they recorded Let It Be, the museum is expected to attract fans. Although George Harrison and Ringo Starr hesitated, John Lennon pushed for the rooftop concert, which lasted about 40 minutes before police intervened due to noise complaints. Paul McCartney praised the initiative as a fantastic idea, while Ringo Starr expressed that returning to the site felt "like coming home." The announcement aligns with renewed interest in the band, including four upcoming films and Peter Jackson's 2021 documentary series "Get Back." UK creative industries minister Ian Murray remarked that the museum will provide a unique experience of the band.
